Our Approach
Let us help you find common ground and move forward with confidence.
Hi! Welcome. I am Rosie and I am a mediator passionate about helping people resolve conflicts in a calm, constructive, and confidential environment. Having completed accredited civil and commercial mediation training, I am committed to offering a supportive and neutral space where individuals can work toward mutually agreeable solutions.
My approach is rooted in empathy, impartiality, and professionalism, and I bring a fresh perspective along with up-to-date knowledge of current mediation practices. I'm here to guide the process and help you move forward.
I support participants through every step of the process, from initial consultation to the potential settlement agreement, with a focus on reducing stress, saving time, and avoiding the cost and complexity of formal legal proceedings.
What to expect in a mediation session -
Initial Introduction: I will explain the mediation process, ground rules, and confidentiality agreements. Each participant will have an opportunity to introduce themselves and outline their concerns.
Opening statements: Each participant shares their perspective on the issue, allowing everyone to understand different viewpoints.
Discussion and exploration: The mediator facilitates dialogue, helping parties clarify concerns, identify interests, and explore potential solutions. These conversations are in private, without the other participants present.
Negotiation: The participants work together to develop possible resolutions. I may suggest compromises and guide discussions towards a mutually acceptable agreement.
Agreement drafting: Once a resolution is reached, I will assist in drafting a written agreement that outlines the terms and conditions that have been mutually agreed upon within the session. If a resolution is not met, I can give you written confirmation of an agreement not being reached, as the court may require this.
Finalisation: If both participants agree, the agreement is signed, and mediation concludes. If additional sessions are needed, a plan for future meetings is set.
